The eyebrows and the mod dress and the hair is all a wonderful, delicious, early ’60s dream. Emma is really one of the classiest and most talented actresses of our generation. Kudos to UK Vogue for making such a good cover choice. I’ve always been more of a UK Vogue fan than a US Vogue fan simply because they are more subject relevant. I’ve always felt that US Vogue tries to speak to a young audience through much older eyes, and that the result is always, unfortunately, tired and boring. UK Vogue, however, is young and fresh and knows how to get a good cover in. Bravo.
Case and point… US Vogue’s October cover. Carey Mulligan is young and beautiful, and they covered her up. In tweed.
(Although I admit the editorial was stunning.)
