so long, goodbye.

An attempted summary of what camp was for me this year. It was our last year as campers and no words could describe what that means or meant to me. My 8th year at this amazing place with these amazing people exceeded my expectations to no end and blew my mind. I was super late in developing these pictures, but seeing them is just bring back all kinds of memories that are really nice to be remembering right now. I MISS AND LOVE YOU ALL!

(So Long, Goodbye is the Sum 41 song we sang at closing campfire.)

apples in the summer, all cold and sweet

A few quick snapshots of my summer! Lots of adventures and people and haircuts. I’ve been awful at blogging but there are a few things coming up that I’m very excited to write about. Within the next day or two there will be a preview of the September/October issue of TAP, “Lore”. This issue is set to release on September 7th. I had the privilege of working with various incredibly talented professionals for this issue, and I am beyond excited to share it with everyone. Our web address has also now officially changed to www.tapmagazine.net! There will be changes occurring on our website as well, so keep an eye out for those and enjoy these last few days of summer.

All photos by me except the last one (credit to Allie Furuya).

are you feelin, feelin, feelin like i’m feelin?

Happy summer, y’all! I’ve been super busy interning and everything, but luckily I’ve been able to make it to the beach a few times, both of which were awesome. I have a bunch of posts planned for the future that include interning (I make clothes now, apparently?) and other fun stuff everywhere (Disposable cameras! Yay!). Also, my darling baby fellow intern/blogger Hannah is finally in the city again! This not only means that summer has truly started but that many outfit posts and hopefully a new project with her will be on here very, very soon! Until then, here’s some Avett, and enjoy July!

P.S. there’s a new issue of {tap} coming reeeeeallllly soon, I promise! [but really.]

that awkward moment when you haven’t posted in almost a month.

Yeeeeeah about that. I’m now officially done with freshman year which is weird and crazy and extremely overwhelming. I start my internship with stylists Carmen Adriana and Ariel Lawrence on Monday, just a few days before the July/August issue of {tap}, “Liberty”, is set to come out. On that note… never before has there been a better time to contribute to {tap}! I’m looking for self style photos of everyone ever for the upcoming issue. Click through for the Facebook event or email tapzine@gmail.com for more info.

Now that I’m done talking about myself, here’s an inspiration post. Once Hannah gets home/to New York from Israel, there will be a lot more outfit posts and possibly a collaboration project between us two. Enjoy!

salut from paris!

Today was our third day in Paris, which is why there hasn’t been (and won’t be) too much posting for a while. We’re here through next Sunday. Today we went to the Louvre and stumbled upon a bunch of really cool vintage shops. More pictures to come!
